为满足国际社会对日益增长的中文教育类人才的需求，促进世界各国中文教育的发展，助力国际中文教育人才的成长，教育部中外语言交流合作中心（以下简称中心）设立国际中文教师奖学金（以下简称奖学金），聚焦培养合格的海外中文教师。孔子学院、独立设置的孔子课堂，部分中文考试考点，外国相关教育机构、高校中文师范专业/中文院系、国外有关中文教学行业组织、中国驻外使（领）馆等（以下简称推荐机构）可推荐优秀学生和在职中文教师到中国大学（以下简称接收院校）学习和进修国际中文教育及相关专业。
To meet the growing international demand for Chinese language teachers, facilitate Chinese language education around the world, and support the professional development of Chinese language teachers, the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC) has established the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship (hereinafter referred to as the Scholarship) for eligible Chinese language teachers outside of China. Confucius Institutes, independent Confucius Classrooms, selected HSK test centers, foreign educational institutions, Chinese language teacher training programs/Chinese departments at foreign universities, professional associations for Chinese language teaching, Chinese embassies (consulates) abroad (hereinafter collectively referred to as Recommending Institutions) may recommend outstanding students and in-service Chinese language teachers to further their studies in international Chinese language education and related programs at Chinese universities (hereinafter referred to as Host Institutions).

Liaoning University, as one of the Host Institutions of International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship, welcomes applicants all over the world to study at LNU. Please check the following guide for detailed information:
一、资助对象
I. ELIGIBILITY
1.非中国籍人士；
2.对华友好，无违法犯罪记录，遵守中国政府的法律、法规和学校的规章制度；
3.身心健康，品学兼优；
4.有志于从事中文教育、教学及相关工作；
5.年龄为16-35周岁（统一以2025年9月1日计）。在职中文教师放宽至45周岁，本科奖学金申请者一般不超过25周岁。
a) Be a non-Chinese citizen.
b) Be friendly to China, have no criminal record, abide by the laws and regulations of China and the rules and regulations of the Host Institution.
c) Be in good physical and mental health, be in good academic and behavioral standing.
d) Be interested in Chinese language education and related work.
e) Be aged between 16 and 35 years on September 1, 2025. The maximum age limit for in-service Chinese teachers may be extended to 45, but those who apply for a scholarship for a Bachelor’s degree shall be younger than 25 under most circumstances.
二、奖学金类别及申请条件
II. CATEGORIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
1.国际中文教育专业硕士研究生
Scholarship for Master’s Degree in International Chinese Language Education
2025年9月入学，学制3年。教育部中外语言交流合作中心资助期限为2年，第3年经申请审核通过后，可以申请专项助学金。
具有大学本科学历。中文水平考试成绩达到HSK（五级）210 分、HSKK（中级）60 分。提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议或相关证明者优先。
The program commences in September 2025, and the academic system is 3 years. The scholarship is provided for a maximum of two academic years by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC). In the third year, students can apply for a special student grant.
Applicants shall hold a Bachelor’s degree. Applicants shall have a minimum score of 210 on the HSK Test (Level 5) and 60 on the HSKK test(Intermediate Level). Priority will be given to applicants who may provide an employment contract with a teaching institution upon completing their studies in China or proof to the same effect.
2.国际中文教育专业本科生
Scholarship for Bachelor’s Degree in International Chinese Language Education
2025年9月入学，资助期限为4年。
具有高中学历。中文水平考试成绩达到 HSK（四级）210分、HSKK（中级）60 分。
The program commences in September 2025, and the scholarship is provided for a maximum of four academic years.
Applicants shall hold a senior high school diploma and have a minimum score of 210 on the HSK Test (Level 4) and 60 on the HSKK test (Intermediate Level).
3.一学年研修生
Scholarship for One-Year Study Program
2025年9月入学，资助期限为11个月。原则上不录取3年内享受过同类奖学金的申请者。
1.1 国际中文教育方向
中文水平考试成绩达到HSK（三级）270分，具有HSKK成绩。
1.2 汉语言文学、中国哲学方向
中文水平考试成绩达到HSK（四级）180分、HSKK（中级）60 分。
1.3 汉语研修方向
中文水平考试成绩达到HSK（三级）210分，提供HSKK成绩者优先。
The program commences in September 2025, and the scholarship is provided for a maximum of eleven months. In principle, applicants who have received a similar scholarship within three years are not eligible.
Applicants of International Chinese Language Education programs shall have a minimum score of 270 on the HSK test (Level 3), and an HSKK test score is required.
Applicants of Chinese Language and Literature, Chinese philosophy programs shall have a minimum score of 180 on the HSK test (Level 4) and 60 on the HSKK test (Intermediate Level).
Applicants of Chinese Language Study programs shall have a minimum score of 210 on the HSK test (Level 3). Priority will be given to applicants who provide an HSKK test score.
4.一学期研修生
Scholarship for One-Semester Study Program
2025年9月、2026年3月入学，资助期限为5个月。原则上不录取3年内享受过同类奖学金的申请者。国际中文教育、汉语言文学、中国哲学方向，中文水平考试成绩达到HSK（三级）180分，具有HSKK成绩。
The program commences either in September 2025 or March 2026, and the scholarship is provided for a maximum of five months. In principle, applicants who have received a similar scholarship within three years are not eligible. Applicants of international Chinese language education, Chinese Language and Literature, or Chinese philosophy programs shall have a minimum score of 180 on the HSK test (Level 3), and an HSKK test score is required.
5.四周研修生
Scholarship for Four-Week Study Program
2025年7月或12月入学，资助期限为4周。汉语研修、中医、太极文化、汉语言+中国家庭体验等方向，具有HSK成绩。可由推荐机构组团进行报名，并事先联系我校确定在华学习计划，提前报批，每团10-15人。
The program commences either in July or December, 2025, and the scholarship is provided for a maximum of four weeks. Applicants of Chinese language study, traditional Chinese medicine, Taiji culture, or Chinese language plus home-stay with a Chinese family program are required to provide an HSK test score. The program may be organized and applied for by a Recommending Institution with 10-15 participants per group. Before the trip, a detailed study plan shall be made in consultation with LNU and such plan shall be submitted to CLEC for review and approval.
三、奖学金资助内容及标准
III. COVERAGE AND STANDARD FOR INTERNATIONAL CHINESE LANGUAGE TEACHERS SCHOLARSHIP
奖学金资助内容包括：学费、住宿费、生活费（四周研修生除外）和综合医疗保险费。其中，本科生、一学年和一学期研修生生活费标准为 2500元人民币/月；国际中文教育专业硕士生生活费标准为3000元人民币/月。
The Scholarship supports tuition, accommodation, living allowance (excluding four-week study program students) and comprehensive medical insurance. The monthly allowance for undergraduates, one-year study program students and one-semester study program students is RMB 2,500 per person; that for master’s students in International Chinese Language Education is RMB 3,000 per person.
四、申请流程
IV. APPLICATION PROCEDURES
1.2025年2月20日起，申请者可登录中外语言交流合作中心网站（http://www.chinese.cn）国际中文教育奖学金板块，查询推荐机构，在接收院校中查找“辽宁大学”，在线提交申请材料。请通过网站随时关注申请进程、审核意见与奖学金评审结果，并及时查看邮箱，我校将通过邮件通知审核意见、面试要求及授予结果等。
注：学历生项目申请者需同时在辽宁大学国际学生在线服务系统（https://lnu.17gz.org/member/login.do）录入申请信息，按要求提交申请材料。(先用邮箱注册账户，然后选择“国际中文教师奖学金”项目填写个人相关信息，再上传附件，最后点击“提交”。）
a) Online registration will be available from 20 February, 2025 on the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship website (http://www.chinese.cn). Please log on to search for scholarships, Recommending Institutions and Host Institutions（search for Liaoning University）, submit application materials online. Please track the application progress, comments and results through the website, and check the email in time. LNU will notify the review opinions, interview requirements and award results through email.
Note: Degree program applicants shall register in the Liaoning University International Student Online Service System（https://lnu.17gz.org/member/login.do), fill in the application information, and submit the application materials simultaneously.（First, create an account using your email. Then, select the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship program, complete your personal information, upload the required attachments, and click Submit.）
2.推荐机构按申请办法要求审核申请者资格及申请材料，为申请者出具推荐信并完成在线推荐。
b) Recommending Institutions shall, pursuant to the Guide, review the applicants’ qualifications and application documents, provide recommendation letters for the applicants and complete online recommendation.
3.我校按招生要求审核申请资料，向中心提交符合条件人选。
c) LNU shall review the application according to the requirements and submit the qualified applicants to CLEC.
4.中心委托专家组集中评审，根据HSK、HSKK考分和级别，兼顾国别等因素择优资助，于入学前约3个月完成奖学金评审工作，公布评审结果。
d) CLEC will entrust an expert panel to review the applications. Decisions will be based on HSK and HSKK levels and scores, geographical distribution, and other factors. The results will be announced about three months before the program starts.
5.我校将根据评审结果与奖学金获得者确认录取。确认留学意向后，非学历生奖学金获得者需按我校要求在辽宁大学国际学生在线服务系统（https://lnu.17gz.org/member/login.do）再次录入申请信息，提交申请材料。除国际中文教师奖学金报名网站需要的材料外，还须上传最高学历证明、成绩单及其中文翻译件、由正规医院出具的《外国人体格检查记录》以及无犯罪记录证明（中英文均可）。
e) LNU will confirm the admission with the successful applicants according to the results. After confirming the intention to study at LNU, the Non-degree program successful applicants shall, according to the requirements of LNU, register in the International Student Online Service System（https://lnu.17gz.org/member/login.do), fill in the application information and submit the application materials. In addition to the materials required by the application system for the International Chinese Teacher Scholarship of CLEC, a certificate of the highest diploma and an official transcript. Transcripts can be provided in Chinese or English, the PHYSICAL EXAMINATION RECORD FOR FOREIGNR issued by the regular hospital (Required materials for applicants who apply for one year study or more and the Certificate of Non-criminal Record must be submitted.
五、关于在职中文教师和汉语桥获奖者
V. POLICIES REGARDING IN-SERVICE CHINESE LANGUAGE TEACHERS AND CHINESE BRIDGE WINNERS
1.在职中文教师
在职中文教师申请各类奖学金，可提供就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信，同等条件下优先录取。
2.汉语桥获奖者
在各类汉语桥比赛中获得“国际中文教师奖学金证书”者，登录国际中文教师奖学金网站，凭奖学金证书向我校提交申请材料。如有问题，请咨询chinesebridge@chinese.cn。
a) In-Service Chinese Language Teachers
In-service Chinese language teachers need to provide proof of employment and a letter of recommendation from the employer.
b) Chinese Bridge Winners
Applicants who have received the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship Certificate during Chinese Bridge competitions need to submit their application documents along with their scholarship certificates to LNU directly at the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship website. 六、申请材料
VI. APPLICATION MATERIALS
申请人所提供的全部材料均应为中文或英文版本。
（一）与所有申请者有关的证明材料
1.护照照片页扫描件；
2.HSK、HSKK成绩报告（有效期两年）扫描件；
3.推荐机构负责人的推荐信；
4.在职中文教师须附上就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信；
5.未满18周岁的申请者，须提交在华监护人署名的委托证明文件；
6.《外国人体格检查记录》（申请学习时间为一学年及以上的申请者须提供此文件）；
7.无犯罪记录证明。
（二）与学历生有关的证明材料
8.提供经过公证的最高学历证明（毕业预期证明）和在校学习成绩单。
9.国际中文教育专业硕士须提供两名副教授以上职称导师的推荐信（中文或英文书写）及来华学习计划（中文1000字以上，英文2500字以上）。提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议者优先资助。
10.申请者还须提供接收院校要求的其他证明材料。
All the materials provided by the applicants shall be in Chinese or English.
A. For all applicants
a) A scanned copy of passport photo page.
b) A scanned copy of score reports of the HSK/HSKK tests (within the two-year validity).
c) A reference letter by the head of the Recommending Institution.
d) In-service Chinese language teachers shall provide proof of employment and a reference letter from the employer.
e) Applicants under 18 shall provide certified documents of designation signed by their entrusted legal guardians in China.
f) PHYSICAL EXAMINATION RECORD FOR FOREIGNR (Required documents for applicants who apply for one year study or more).
g) Certificate of Non-criminal Record.
B. For degree program applicants
h) Provide the notarized certificate of the highest diploma (or proof of expected graduation) and an official transcript.
i) Applicants of the Scholarship for a Master’s Degree in International Chinese Language Education are required to provide two reference letters from professors or associate professors（Write in Chinese or English）and a study plan in China (at least 1,000 words in Chinese or 2,500 words in English). Priority will be given to applicants who may provide an employment contract with a teaching institution upon completing their studies in China.
j) Applicants shall provide additional documents as required by the Host Institutions.

八、其它
Ⅷ. OTHERS
1.申请者须了解我校的具体招生条件及报名截止时间，按照相关规定提交申请材料。
2.申请材料不完整或不符合招生条件的，概不受理。
3.申请材料弄虚作假，或非本人填写提交的，一经查实，申请资格将被取消。
4.入学体检及无犯罪记录证明不合格、中途退学、及未经许可不按时报到、休学等情况，取消奖学金资格。
5.相关专业培养方案与教学课程，可咨询我校。
6.学历生须参加年度评审，详见《国际中文教师奖学金年度评审办法》。
a) Applicants shall be familiar with the admission criteria and application deadlines, and submit necessary documents accordingly.
b) Incomplete or unqualified applications will not be processed.
c) Applicants will be disqualified in terms of fraudulent application materials or non-personal submission.
d) Students who fail to pass the pre-enrollment medical examination, submit unqualified Certificate of Non-criminal Record, withdraw from school before completing the program, fail to register at the university without prior permission, or suspend their studies will be disqualified for the scholarship.
e) Applicants under the age of 18 must submit relevant legal documents entrusting their legal guardians in China.
f) Degree students must complete their studies according to the requirements and participate in the annual evaluation each year. For details of the evaluation, please refer to the Annual Assessment Procedures of the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship.
